Earth Conscious Natural Deodorant Review

I was recently sent two tins of Earth Conscious natural deodorant for review. I gave the citrus one to my next door neighbours to try out while I kept the Ylang Ylang one for myself. After a few weeks of use I can say that we’re both pretty impressed by the effect of these natural deodorants.

The Earth Conscious deodorants come in a pot, rather like the old shoe polish tins, and instead of having a spray or roll on you just rub the waxy mixture with your fingers. This ‘melts’ a small amount of it which you can then apply using your fingertips. It is non-sticky and non-greasy so is easy to apply and a small amount does go far. There has been no issue with staining of clothes so that’s a definite plus point.

Both the Ylang Ylang and the Citrus have a lovely subtle aroma which nicely absorbs any natural body odour smell whilst still allowing the pores to breathe.

We were unanimous in saying that just one application lasts for the whole day.

My neighbours loved that Earth Conscious doesn’t contain aluminium or other heavy metals – which many deodorant products do – which can cause harm to the nervous system. For that reason alone they said they’d use it regularly. The fact it doesn’t use palm oil either is a very good thing. The oils used are organic coconut oil, organic shea butter and an organic oil of the particular fragrance (Organic Ylang Ylang oil in my case).

One of the neighbours said they’d prefer the deodorant if it were a roll-on (for which I assume more oil would need to be added to liquify it further), but personally I do like the tin format. Application is simple, it absorbs in to the skin on the fingers and there’s no risk of staining. This reduces the need of any extra packaging required in a roller ball applicator.

If natural products are important to you and you regularly wear a deodorant then I would suggest giving Earth Conscious a go. With no adverse effects whilst being effective in neutralising bad smells, I would have thought that most people who try it will also stick with it.

Earth Conscious natural deodorant by Earth Conscious is available on their website for £5 per tin. I have a discount code that you can use for a 15% discount and you also get free postage on orders of £15 or more.

I was sent these two products for free in exchange for my honest opinion.
