Paccari Chocolates
Paccari Chocolate are an ethical and socially responsible chocolate company founded in 2002 by two firm believers of nature’s treasure: Santiago Peralta and Carla Barboto.
By combining their passion for sustainable business and a commitment to preserving “Arriba Nacional Cacao” (Ecuador’s national cacao bean), they gave birth to a company that has contributed to changing over 3,500 independent farmer families’ lives while making the first single origin chocolate made entirely in Ecuador. By making the chocolates in origin much more of the wealth stays in Ecuador.
Paccari Chocolate is not only organic and vegan, it is also free from soya, gluten, dairy and any artificial ingredient so as to offer the healthiest chocolate with the best texture possible.
Paccari are Fair Trade (not only in the ingredients but Paccari as company is a Fair Trade certified enterprise by WFTO as well) and a certified B-Corp.
The blend of exceptional quality cacao beans and exotic ingredients such as Lemongrass, Pink salt or superfoods such as Maca, gives Paccari chocolate a unique character and inimitable taste, which makes the act of eating it a genuine and unforgettable sensorial experience. Their renowned quality has earned them over 450 medals at the International Chocolate Awards since 2012.
